Well if you have a Playstation 3 you'd see that Capcom has been releasing specific characters as avatars , these being Alex , Hugo , Elena & Q (3rd Strike) & Charlie , Rolento & R.Mika (Alpha 3). This is a STRONG hint.

Damn you beat me to it, just a few hours too late. Oh well.

This game looks unbelievably awesome. Since Kazuya and Nina have no relation (as far as I know) it seems everyone will be able to do a tag super instead of just certain teams. Although I do hope we get special tag supers for certain teams. I hope even more that some crossover team-ups also get special tag supers instead of limiting the special tag supers to only teams of the same series. Also looks as though Tekken will be sped up to keep up with the SF cast. Will certainly be picking up this game for PS3, not to sure about the Tekken vs. SF.

I have a question though. What does everyone think the gameplay will be like for the Tekken game seeing as how the SF cast has projectiles and some even have some VERY damaging projectiles? It seems its not a problem in SF since some characters have no projectiles but they're still effective because of the high damage of their moves (Zangief for example), are very fast (Guy for example), or have some other way to keep them up with the projectile crew. Capcom did it by just giving Kazuya a speed up although they might make different changes to different characters. But what do you guys think Namco will do? Slow down the fast SFs? Slow down projectiles?

In Tekken 2 Nina, Bruce, and Ganryu were hired bodyguards for Kazuya.

I never thought of that but it does seem unfair to limit projectiles to only a few characters especially if it was only Ryu. There are some characters who don't need to rely on their projectiles but do you really think they would take out any projectiles that other characters have? They obviously could do it no problem but Id think that they would make it so every character is has the same moveset as their SF counterpart. Hopefully they dont take out all the projectile fighters cept Ryu. Also hoping they dont give us only one Shoto character.

I know I said I'll prolly only be picking up the SFxT but Im wondering cuz I do occasionally pick up a Tekken game to lay with friends.

- A few more details about Street Fighter X Tekken were revealed this morning. Here's a recap of new information that came about.
• The target release date is two years from now. Ono expects the time frame for another major announcement to be next year's Captivate, which is held in April.

• The reason for such an early announcement at Comic-Con was because Capcom wanted to do something for the fans.

• Development on the two sides is being handled completely separate. They will not be sharing information between the teams. Capcom will be doing their own designs for the Namco characters, and Namco will handle designs for the Capcom fighters. They're also working separately on the gameplay for both titles.

• Yoshinori Ono said they're thinking about making the game 2 vs. 2.

• It will be a 6 button input system, like the Street Fighter games, however Ono mentioned that he'd like to add something that he referred to as an "assist" feature. He said the iPhone version of Street Fighter 4 has something of an answer here — a feature that lets players feel that they were able to do tough moves.

• Development on the game began just one or two months ago, but Ono thinks that Capcom's version will probably come out first.

• They're considering putting in the early generation characters from each franchise.

• Both sides are looking at these games as a competition and not a collaboration, as they want to challenge each other in all areas, from sales to game play. -End

Im guessing we'll be waiting even longer for the new 3rd Strike if they are HDRemixing it , but i can wait because MvC3 , KoF13 & MK9 will be out next year & those are more than enough for me.
